practical things > stationary

Stationary is a series of cards and envelopes, stationery intended for giving and receiving, in response to the end of COVID lockdowns and social distancing here in the US. As spaces around me continue to pick up, my thoughts turn to reconnection, mail art, times I've held words in my throat or said the wrong thing and the strangeness of coming back together in person. Each piece features an ink drawing of text and a flower and is signed and dated. They are available for purchase at Peel Gallery in Carrboro, North Carolina.
