The Artist is Present and Reimagined
These performance stills are from The Artist is Present and Reimagined. This was an inpromptu late December (2023) afternoon Performance that took place in front of my home. I invited my neighbors to stop by,chat and/or make an ornament while I made holiday ornaments out of toilet paper tubes that had been gifted to me years earlier. All visitors were also invited to take one of the ornaments I had made. A reimagining of Abramović's 2010 performance, The Artist is Present, this is a holiday season meditation on presence, presents, loneliness, creative practice and love transformed.
