That Vacant Lot
That Vacant Lot draws its title from Señor (Tales of Yankee Power) by Bob Dylan. This is an ongoing series of collages depicting a girl and her imaginary friend, a piebald deer named Piebald, in an mostly empty lot. Various expressions of tenderness accrue within this series to explore the role of imagination in friendship, artistic practice, love and loss, and to suggest that these friends will linger in this space forever.
