Studio Visits is an ongoing series of collages that explore ways memory, emotion, storytelling and the fantastic are at play in my studio practice. Ghosts, saints, imaginary friends and not-quite-recognizable-shadows mingle with representations of paint tubs, stacked bowls, cocktail glasses, notebooks and fragmented landscapes such as dark blue clouds and scrap flowers. Like memories, these spaces, materials and characters repeat, morph, reappear and disappear throughout the series.
